Group Details
Meadowvale is a purpose built care home, providing nursing and social care in a selection of differing rooms. The home is registered to provide care for 52 elderly residents. The home is set in private grounds with its own parking.
Location
Meadowvale is situated close to Bathgate town centre, whilst still enjoying open views over Bridgend Park to the Bathgate Hills. The home is within easy reach of shops, other amenities and public transport.
The Home:
Meadowvale has TV lounges and a quiet sitting room. Separate dining rooms, where residents can join the company of others at meal times, are also an important feature of the home.
The accommodation is provided on two floors. All residents' bedrooms are single rooms with en-suite toilet and hand basin facilities. Dining areas are provided on both floors. There are four sitting rooms, one of which is a designated smoking area. Appropriate bathing and toilet facilities are available on both floors. There are separate kitchen and staff facilities in the home.
Philosophy of Care
We are committed to providing the highest possible standards of care. Residents will be treated as individuals and cared for with respect and dignity within a safe, comfortable and homely environment which provides stimulation and encourages independence where appropriate.
Facilities
The home is attended by an experienced hair stylist, a qualified chirpodist and a range of complementary therapies can be arranged to suit individual requirements.
The Cuisine
Our Chef prepares a wide range of home cooked food based upon traditional cooking using fresh produce. Special diets are catered for and daily choices are available. Meals are served to suit the convenience of residents and can be served in the privacy of bedrooms or at the table in our dining rooms. Entertaining guests or small private parties is available for which there is a small extra charge.
Activities
A varied programme of activities also takes place in the home for the benefit of residents.
The Cost
Prior to admission, each new resident is encouraged to visit the home to satisfy themselves that the environment and ambience is to their liking. Our Home Manager will also wish to discuss the personal preferences of each prospective resident and whatever care needs may be required. This is essential to confirm that we are able to provide the correct environment for each individual.
The fees for care are dependent upon the choice of room available and the individual’s requirements and needs. Arrangements for the payment of fees will be agreed with residents prior to admission.
Enquiries
