Profile
Beaumont Support Services was established by Vincent Burini and Stephen Porter back in September 1993 when they opened their first home, Park House - for service users with mental health needs. Their key skills and strengths of the group are with the younger mental Health needs. In February 1996 Beaumont Support Services opened Parkside Lodge for twelve younger clients with mental health needs and expanding the service to those with a need for Rehabilitation and Out-Reach requirements.
In 2001, Beaumont Support Services expanded out of Gateshead and into neighbouring County Durham. They now have the Croft Unit and dedicated to giving care and support to younger people with mental health needs.
Early in 2004, Beaumont Support Services acquired two semi-detached properties in a new development in New Kyo, Stanley. The two properties each have two bedrooms and are fully furnished and equipped for service users who have advanced through our Independent/Rehabilitation programme and are ready to live independently in the community with Out-Reach support from our own staff.
Our future is now focused on further development of our expertise in mental health services in the North East.
