Acton Care Centre has been built and developed especially for the elderly people of Acton and surrounding areas who because of increasing physical and mental frailty are unable to maintain an individual life style at home. Acton Care Centre was registered in March 2003 to provide nursing care for 125 service users over the age of 65. The home provides 71 beds for general care and 54 beds for dementia care. It is a purpose built home with modern amenities close to Acton High Street set on the site of the old Acton Hospital.

The home is able to access other health care professionals to supplement the nursing care already provided. It’s carefully designed purpose built building enables able and less able people to have easy access to all floors, the landscaped gardens at the rear of the building and the large car park.

The centre is divided into five separate units. Each unit provides day and sitting rooms. There are some additional rooms for the visitor and social use.

There are 125 single bedrooms, each room has an en-suite toilet and wash hand basin. Rooms are fully furnished, having their own power points for television and additional electrical appliances. Small pieces of furniture can also be accommodated.
