Acorn Court is our newest home, situated in the new Water Colour Village on the edge of Redhill, Surrey. It is a purpose built nursing and dementia care home equipped to the very highest specifications, in a new out of town development surrounded by landscaped features and a lake. The home is conveniently sited near to both the M25 and Redhill station and offers a secure environment for residents, with all 87 rooms equipped with en suite showers and flat TV screen monitors, and light and spacious communal lounges and dinning areas available on each floor. Our cinema is open regularly for afternoon matinees.
Care is delivered with compassion, with an emphasis given on understanding each resident’s life story and interests. Communal activities are designed with participation in mind, while our gardens have raised potting beds for ease of access and our full time activities co-ordinator ensures that all our residents are entertained and engaged in therapeutic activities. There is plentiful private parking and an open door policy for visiting families. We also encourage residents to personalise their rooms with their own possessions.
Acorn Court is a community that we are proud of and a model nursing and dementia care home.
